I would like to make an unbreakable leash, is that possible?
I assume you mean for when the player moves too far from the entity and the leash breaks. There is a Bukkit event for that, PlayerUnleashEntityEvent, but for the UnleashReason.DISTANCE, you cannot cancel it.
Even if I can't cancel it, is there any other way to make an unbreakable leash? Or extend the stretching distance to a huge amount?
It's hard-coded. You'd have to modify the server code itself.
Separate names with a comma.
